"The book offers a comprehensive treatment of all materials normally introduced under the College Algebra to let the students savor the true contents of the subject. The contents of algebra may be grouped into 3 divisions: Algebraic Expressions (Chapter 1-5), Equations and Inequalities (Chapter 6-11), and Optional Topics (Chapters 12-17). The exercises are always in set of (a) and (b) with almost the same difficulty for different types of approaches such as (a) for boardwork and (b) for seatwork; (a) for homework and (b) for test; (a) for seatwork and (b) for reinforcement exercises, and (a) for a check-up test and (b) for re-test. The book commences with some introductory topics in Chapter 1 to help the student recall his intuition on sets and the real number system.
