"The process development of man as a social being can be best understood by tracing the anthropological, political, and sociological foundations that shape his behavior. To give the learners rich information and knowledge on these influences, the book presents lessons on understanding the concepts about culture, awareness of cultural diversity and provide them with the knowledge of the interplay of culture, society, and politics in shaping the behavior of people. Each lessons has objectives, motivational spring board, discussion and analysis, summary, study helps, proposed issues and concerns for critical discussion and research, and summative worksheet. The content and process will expose learners to interactive-experiential process of learning that evoke critical and analytical thinking and other higher mental processes. The book espouses the outcome-based education (OBE) approach. The learners are expected to engage in research and projects that are evidenced-based.
