This book discuss the definitions of heritage management in general and heritage tourism in particular. The word "heritage" means an inheritance or legally; things of value which have been passed from one generation to the next. In tourism the term "heritage" has come to means not only landscape, natural history, buildings, artifacts, cultural traditions and the like which are either literally or metaphorically passed on from one generation to the other, but those among these things which can be portrayed as tourism products like cultural heritage, particularly architecture, historic sites and artistic monuments.
