"The Science Links 2020 is a program applying interdisciplinary approach that gives social, historical, philosophical, technological, and problem-solving context in the teaching-learning process. It is designed to serve meaningful lessons to the elementary level learners who are so much dependent on science and technology as the prime mover of information and productive living.

This worktext starts with an introduction to encourage learners to explore their environment using the science process skills in learning concepts for Grade 1 to 3, and the scientific method in Grades 4 to 6 to del with the Investigatory Project.

This worktext has four quarters. Each quarter starts with a verse, poem, or song and provides an amazing fact in Read This to direct the learners' focus on the subject matter. The quarter ends with a Project-based learning (PBL) task.

Each quarter is divided into units, which have an introduction that provides key questions and an overview of the concepts covered. Each unit is divided into lessons that develop the topics and ends with a Unit Test that evaluates the following components : Remembering Content, Checking Understanding, Analyzing Ideas, and Applying Concepts.

The worktext features more information and activities that will enhance the learners' knowledge of how science and technology affects the society and how this can be applied in the real-life setting.
