The book presents the following features:

(2) The pertinent provisions of the Civil Code and the Corporation Code as well as those of related statutes are correlated to give the student a more integrated grasp of the subject;

(3) Numerous easy-to-understand illustrations are given to show the practical application of the law in specific cases ; and

(4) Opinions of recognized authors on the subject are cited or quoted together with the important doctrines laid down by the Supreme Court, all to provide the student with a good knowledge of this highly technical field of law.

A STUDY GUIDE is provided at the end of every Chapter, or Section, where the Chapter is divided into Sections. It has the following feature:

1. The questions are designed primarily to test and further increase the understanding by the student of the provisions of law, not necessarily to prepare them for the CPA Examinations which are if the objective type requiring the use of much space.
While such task properly belong to CPA reviewers, candidates for CPA examinations will find the book, with the study guide, by reason of its content and scope, very useful for purposes of review.

2. The answers to some questions depend on the presence or absence of certain facts or circumstances which are not mentioned but which the student is supposed to know. Therefore, the answers must be qualified.
