The book also includes the analysis about the political point of view of Rizal included in his various essays novel such as The Letter to the Young Women of Malolos, The Indolence of the Filipino People, The Philippines: A Century Hence, Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo. The book also highlight the contribution of Jose P. Rizal to Dapitan and how he used his imprisonment to develop the life of the people in Talisay, Dapitan. In the end, the author connect the narrative of his execution to the events national history and how and how his execution become the start of the real struggle of the Filipinos against Spaniards. The authors used the primary sources (the diary of Rizal and his letter to his correspondence) and secondary sources (books written by the official biographer of Jose P. Rizal). The narrative about national history is also utilized for the analysis of the impact of the life and writings of Dr. Jose P.
