The book explains important tourism principles and concepts, defines key terminologies, and presents numerous case studies and selected reading excerpts most relevant to Philippine tourism laws. The author presented the discussions in a story-telling fashion. The laws and their concepts are simplified by providing short and simple illustrations. Some problems are taken from the decisions of the Supreme Court, but are modified to make them more understandable. Not all laws applicable to the hospitality industry are written in this book. Only a few of them were selected in order to fit the same for the duration of one semester.
