"This material is prepared in response to the absence of laboratory manual in the subject Polygraphy. It contains activities which are important in developing the knowledge and skills of learners in the conduct of polygraph examination. As such, the activities in this manual are simplified as possible to enable students to perform them easily. Moreover, the highlight of each activity is the writing of a reflection article concerning the knowledge or skills that were developed in them after performing the tasks. it is expected that after accomplishing all the activities in this manual, the desired outcomes identified in the subject Polygraphy will be realized.
For the faculty handling the subject, this manual will help them plan methodical classroom activities. After discussing the concept or theory of the topics, they can require the students to perform the tasks,. In addition, they are encouraged to guide their students as they do the required activity.
On the part of the students, performing honesty and religiously the activities will develop their technical knowledge and adequate skills in Polygraphy. As future Criminologist, they should be adept in this area.
