It is designed to provide an understanding of the basic concepts of mathematics as applied in business. It includes a review of the fundamental mathematical operations using decimals, fractions, percent, ratio and proportion; mathematical concepts and skills in buying and selling, computing gross and net earnings, and presenting, analyzing, and interpreting business data. The use of computer and software applications for computation and data presentation is also presented for easy learning. The course is divided into four (4) chapters.
